AI Search and SEO for B2C Professional Services: Martin Searle Solicitors

Employment law and community care law specialists Martin Searle Solicitors wanted to increase sales and lead generation from both traditional search engines and emerging AI search platforms.

ThoughtShift’s AI search and SEO strategy began with in-depth audience research, identifying the search queries and buying intentions of four distinct audiences: employees, employers, professional deputies and people seeking community care legal advice.

Using Google query data, People Also Ask and AI search fan-out queries, the website was restructured around audience needs and search intent, making it easier for both people and AI agents to understand and discover the firm’s specialist legal services.

The results include 500% year-on-year growth in AI search sales, with 60% of AI search leads converting into sales compared with 19% of traditional SEO leads. The campaign also achieved number one positions in Google AI Overviews for “best maternity discrimination solicitors” and ChatGPT for “best NHS continuing healthcare solicitors”.

Travel SEO for Luxury Holidays and Safari Bookings: Far and Wild Travel

Luxury and tailor-made holiday specialist Far and Wild Travel wanted to scale lead generation by achieving top organic search positions for customers looking for the best travel agencies for luxury safari, honeymoon and family holidays.

ThoughtShift’s international travel SEO strategy combined page-by-page metadata architecture, expansion into new countries, technical SEO and brand authority engineering to grow visibility and capture high-intent organic search demand across multiple destinations.

The campaign exceeded both lead generation and return on investment targets, delivering substantial growth in bookings and sales.

Eliza Smyth, Communications & Operations Director at Far and Wild Travel, said:

“ThoughtShift has helped us navigate an extraordinary journey of growth, positioning Far and Wild Travel at the top of organic search for customers looking for the best travel agencies for luxury safari, honeymoon and family holidays. Against a target of 3x ROI, the SEO campaign delivered a 44% increase in visibility, 75% more leads, 43% more sales and an incredible 35x total ROI, including 10.5x in incremental ROI.”

B2C SEO and PPC: South Coast Home Improvements

South Coast Home Improvements, a specialist window and conservatory installer, wanted to increase enquiries for its highest-value products, including windows and conservatories.

A comprehensive Google Ads audit identified significant advertising spend going towards brand traffic and door-related searches that no longer aligned with the business’s growth strategy.

ThoughtShift restructured the PPC campaigns around windows and conservatories, separating brand and non-brand activity, removing inefficient Search Partner and Display traffic, and refining location targeting.

Alongside this, the SEO strategy rebuilt website navigation, metadata and onsite content around the locations, products and categories most important to prospective customers.

The integrated B2C SEO and PPC campaign delivered a 49% increase in year-on-year revenue in the first six months, more than 30 top 10 keyword positions and a 105% increase in Quote Builder key events.

Crucially, the SEO and PPC teams shared one set of customer and conversion insights, allowing the same metadata architecture that improved organic search visibility to support Google Ads Quality Scores.

Ecommerce PPC, SEO, AI Search & Google Analytics: Marine Super Store

For Marine Super Store, a multi-channel sailing and watersports retailer, the challenge was to grow ecommerce revenue and improve return on investment without increasing advertising spend.

ThoughtShift’s data-led PPC strategy began with a comprehensive Google Analytics 4 (GA4), Google Tag Manager and Consent Mode V2 audit. This improved the accuracy of reported revenue from 60% to 90%, providing Google and Microsoft Ads with significantly better conversion data to optimise campaigns and identify opportunities for growth.

The strategy also incorporated product listing schema optimisation to improve product discovery across generative AI platforms, alongside predictive PPC demand modelling to anticipate customer demand and optimise advertising investment.

The combined approach delivered record-breaking revenue and return on ad spend, demonstrating how accurate analytics, AI search optimisation and intelligent paid media strategies can work together to supercharge ecommerce performance.
