Reassured, UK’s largest life insurance broker, finalist at UK Search Awards 2021

Reassured is the largest life insurance intermediary in the UK. We specialise in arranging suitable financial protection for families across the country.

Customers can use our broker service to compare life insurance quotes from a panel of top UK providers including Aviva, AIG, and Zurich.

Reassured currently employs over 1,000 people and has nine established office locations, four of which have opened in the past two years despite the challenges we’ve faced due to the pandemic. The business continues to grow and so does our in-house digital marketing team, in which all customer leads for the business are generated via PPC, SEO and Paid Social channels. Last year, the team collectively produced a record number of 1 million leads, raising the bar for future targets. Despite a declining market (and a global pandemic) Reassured is one of the fastest growing companies in the UK, and our lead generation continues to outperform other big hitters within the industry.

We entered the UK Search Awards in 2021 to raise the profile of our marketing team and to recognise the outstanding results they’ve achieved and continue to achieve. One of our most successful PPC campaigns, titled ‘Head Terms’ was submitted for the ‘Best Use of Search – Finance (PPC)’ category.

This campaign involved using highly competitive keywords such as ‘Life Insurance’ and ‘Life insurance Quotes’ to drive aggressive lead volume over 6 months. We were up against the biggest brands in the industry, but the campaign successfully increased leads by 10,000, increased conversion rate, and improved lead quality year on year. With a combination of optimising for the most amount of life insurance leads, at the best cost per lead, for the best lead quality we were able to successfully achieve the main three KPIs we look for from a successful lead generation campaign in the life insurance sector.

While Reassured didn’t win the award on this occasion, we were really proud to be shortlisted for this accolade in 2021 and it has spurred us on to enter future Search Awards. The team who were involved in the nominated campaign were also delighted to attend the award ceremony held at the Park Plaza Hotel in November. They said it was a fantastic evening and a great opportunity to network with the other agencies and to cheer each other on! 

In 2020, Reassured was also nominated and shortlisted for the ‘SEO Campaign of the Year (B2C)’. This campaign was in collaboration with Screaming Frog, one of the Search Awards winning agencies in 2021.  Screaming Frog supported the SEO team at Reassured in producing an engaging campaign with the goal to secure coverage, increase brand awareness and diversify our backlink profile. The award nomination represented the investment involved with this campaign and the value of SEO strategy within our marketing function.
