In just the short space of a few years, Tidal Digital have propelled themselves up into the digital marketing stratosphere.
From the humble beginnings of two digital marketers looking to go it alone and make their own successes – Liam Troughton and Simon Lomas set out to create a performance-based marketing agency that would meet the standards of both service and results through working closely with clients, as a partner rather than simply an extension of their marketing department.
As the results poured in, it seems they were on to something good. In just over two years, the firm has attained a global reach with clients all over the world. Coining the term Boutique Agency, they describe themselves as offering international agency results at boutique prices.
And their work hasn’t gone unnoticed. Picking up awards in the MENA Search Awards, UK Search Awards and the UK Digital Growth Awards, their trophy cabinet exceeds 15 awards ranging from Best Use of Content Marketing, in both English and Arabic, Best Use of Personalisation and three coveted Best Start Up and Global Start Up Agencyawards. These wins have really cemented their position as a force in the industry.
Small Fish, Big Pond, Strong Swimmer!
Aside from the obvious joys of winning lots of trophies for their cabinet, what this did for Tidal Digital was to put them on a stage with some of the big hitters in the industry. The results of which, were a lot of leads, deals and significant growth in their team, particularly in the UK after their recent UK Search Awards success.
Liam had this to say about Tidal’s journey so far: –
“it’s been a little overwhelming at times, if not for the work that we’ve put in, and believe me, we were round the clock at one stage, but for how quickly we’ve grown. We didn’t really envisage us coming this far this quickly.
“The way I see things, the awards play a big part in our success. It’s much more than a banner for your email or a badge on the website, when we’re coming up against well-established agencies, and winning, we make ripples in the pond and that’s what everyone is looking for, movement. Off the back of the awards, we’ve made some great contacts, signed some great deals and have plenty more in the pipeline”.
Of course, it’s the results that Tidal Digital are reeling in that are the key to winning the awards. And it’s clear from the results and their awards cabinet that they are a highly skilled team, which we’re told grows month on month.
Originally operating out of Dubai, Simon since moved back to the UK to build on operations here. With their booming achievements, their UK team has been steadily growing with 3 more permanent positions filled since Simon returned. This brings their employee total well into double figures, in just over two and a half years since their incorporation.
