About the Project: Building Blocks of Paid Search Success for Ecomerchant

Our award-nominated campaign was built around our partnership with Ecomerchant, a respected supplier of eco-friendly building materials. When Ecomerchant approached us, their Google Ads campaigns were underperforming, and profitability had become a major concern.

Their goal was simple but critical: to turn paid search into a sustainable source of profit and growth. We set out to deliver a minimum of three monthly conversions to break even, while expanding brand visibility and reaching a broader audience of self-builders and trade professionals.

Our Data-Led PPC Approach

We started by re-engineering Ecomerchant’s Google Shopping campaigns from the ground up.

Our approach included:

  • Data segmentation: Splitting campaigns into high-performing product groups.
  • Precision targeting: Focusing on search intent through highly refined product feeds and negative keyword strategies.
  • Smart bidding: Introducing strategic bid management and a low-bid, catch-all structure to maximise reach and competitiveness without inflating cost-per-clicks.
  • Ongoing optimisation: Using real-time performance insights to refine product listings and improve click-through rates.

The result was a campaign that not only reached the right audience but delivered exceptional ROI. Ecomerchant experienced both short-term profitability and long-term brand visibility in a niche but growing eco-conscious construction sector.
