At Targeted SEO, we are a specialist SEO agency that offers far more than the basics. Our services include SEO strategy, website audits, content creation, branding, and web design. Working across a multitude of sectors means we’re never bored and always have a fun fact to tell… Ever wondered how many eyes a caterpillar has? Or how solar panels actually work?

Random pub quiz knowledge aside, we love what we do here at Targeted SEO. We take real pride in delivering tangible results for our clients and watching their businesses grow into competitive, profitable enterprises.

Why we entered the UK Search Awards

Watching our SEO agency grow over the past 6 years has enabled us to reflect on where we first started and appreciate just how far we have come.

Starting out, our goals were modest—we wanted to create an environment that gave us flexibility and a sense of purpose. Fast-forward to today, and we’ve surpassed even our own expectations. Our team has grown from just two co-founders to a talented team of eight individuals. We’ve built a company we are truly proud of, one that not only delivers for our clients but also creates an incredible place for our team to thrive.

Targeted SEO’s first employee, Caroline, who has been with us since 2021, reflects on the journey so far:

“Some people know for sure what career they want after finishing school or university. I knew digital marketing was for me, but with SEO? Some say it’s a rabbit hole that you find yourself falling into. And I bloody love it!

I still remember walking into my first interview and the call I received later that day telling me that I had been successful. As the first employee of Targeted SEO, I had no idea what the future held. Little did I know that I was embarking on a journey that would not only shape my career but also allow me to witness the growth of a thriving SEO agency.

Over the years, I’ve watched Targeted SEO transform from a two-person operation into a small but mighty team. Each new hire, each successful SEO campaign and each satisfied client has been a milestone in our journey. We’ve quite literally climbed mountains (with a client in the tourism industry, of course)!

The foundation of Targeted SEO is not only the knowledge of SEO we translate into campaigns but also our people. I appreciate getting to work with a supportive and collaborative team every day. We work together, share ideas, learn from each other and celebrate our successes. I know it sounds soppy, but it’s the people who make Targeted SEO what it is today.

As I reflect on my journey with the company, I’m filled with gratitude for the opportunities and experiences I’ve had. Our client portfolio and reviews are a testament to our specialisms and care. I’m proud to be a part of such a dedicated and passionate team, and I’m excited to see what the future holds for Targeted SEO. Onwards and upwards we go!

This category showcases the exceptional results we achieve on a small scale. It tells our story, from our humble beginnings in 2018 to overcoming challenges like a world pandemic and working extremely hard to win new clients and retain existing ones—we still work with our very first client today!

Being in the running for Best Small SEO Agency is a testament to our hard work and commitment. We have been able to show off some impressive victories for clients, from hitting numerous #1 spots in Google for competitive keywords to increasing organic users by over 400%.

Best Low Budget Campaign (SEO)

We’re especially proud of being shortlisted for this category, which shows our ability to produce great results even when resources are limited. We make sure that clients don’t always need a massive budget to get the results they’re looking for. Yes, it may take a little more planning and creativity from our side, but the payoff for our clients is worth every effort.

The campaign that earned us this nomination was the incredible work we did for our client in the mortgage sector, Simmonds Mortgage Services. Despite working with limited resources and a very modest budget, we managed to exceed everyone’s expectations. We did a complete rebranding, website build with on-page and technical SEO, and implemented an ongoing local SEO and content strategy.

One of the biggest wins from this campaign was the significant rise in organic users. We saw traffic grow from just 97 to 1,259 per month—an impressive jump of 1,198%!
