Hello, we’re Clean Digital, a specialist PPC agency based in (not so) sunny Edinburgh. We’re absolutely over the moon to be shortlisted for not one but two UK Search Awards 2024: Best Small PPC Agency and Best Use of Search – FMCG for our work with Dobbies Garden Centres. This recognition is a testament to our dedicated team’s relentless efforts to push the boundaries of PPC marketing and deliver exceptional results for our clients.

Since 2012, we have grown into a vibrant team of 18, representing eight different nationalities, each bringing unique perspectives and skills that energise our work environment. Our team’s diversity and shared passion for digital fuel our creativity and drive our continuous pursuit of excellence. Last year, we transitioned into a 100% employee-owned business, a move that has profoundly impacted our team in many ways. Since this transition, our company culture has gone from strength to strength, with every team member, regardless of their position, now having the opportunity to voice opinions, concerns and ideas. This unique structure means every team member is not just a cog in the machine but a vital part of our shared success, with everyone having a meaningful stake in the company. To put it simply; if Clean Digital performs well, we all benefit.

Being shortlisted for Best Small PPC Agency, in particular, is something the Clean Digital team is extremely proud of. We genuinely take pride in the work we do for our clients, we commit to providing excellent client service, delivering results that align with their wider business goals. This recognition also highlights the strength of our team and their ability to adapt, innovate, and excel, ensuring that we remain at the forefront of the industry. It speaks to our success as an employee-owned company, where each team member’s passion and drive contribute directly to our achievements.

Over the past 18 months, we’ve also expanded our tech offerings, which play a crucial role in our success as they not only elevate our client’s PPC performance, but they’ve also created new revenue streams for the business. Our suite of in-house tools allow us to offer cutting-edge solutions and services that keep our clients ahead in a competitive digital landscape. These advancements enable us to provide more refined and effective strategies, ensuring our clients achieve their desired results.

Our nomination for Best Use of Search – FMCG for the “Spring’s Our Thing!” campaign with Dobbies is a testament to our team’s ingenuity and creativity. This campaign was challenging yet rewarding, highlighting our ability to truly think outside the box. One of the standout features was our advanced weather reporting strategy, where we developed a dynamic approach to adjusting creative content based on local weather conditions. This out-of-the-box thinking allowed us to optimise performance in real time, ensuring maximum effectiveness despite challenging weather patterns – a particularly wet spring! This complex strategy really highlights out teams’ adaptability and creativity, a true example of going above and beyond the brief.

Being shortlisted in two prominent categories at the UK Search Awards 2024 is more than just a recognition; it is a celebration of who we are and what we stand for. It encapsulates our journey, our values, and the hard work of our amazing team. It encourages us to continue striving for excellence, breaking new ground in PPC and tech innovation, and setting new standards within the industry.
